    Welcome to ASEAN-Fisheries Education Network (ASEAN-FEN)

    The ASEAN-FEN Annual International Fisheries Symposium is an annual academic symposium which provides the attendees with the opportunity to gain insights into topics in many sessions: Aquaculture biotechnology and engineering, Aquatic animal nutrition and physiology, Aquatic animal health management, Genetics and breeding, Fishing and fishery technology, policy and law, aquatic resources and environmental management, biodiversity and climate change, EAFTA: Seafood processing technology, food safety and security, fisheries socio-economics and management, Community outreach in fisheries and aquaculture.

    Dr. Veryl Hasan (Universitas Airlangga)

    Dr. Veryl Hasan is an alumnus of Natural Resources and Environment, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia. Currently, he is a lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. His area of expertise is Ichthyology and fish biodiversity. He is currently conducting research on the diversity of freshwater fish species in Indonesia. Several of his collaborative research has been published in reputable international journals.

    Dr. Tirawat Rairat is a lecturer from Department of Fishery Biology, Faculty of Fisheries, Kasetsart University, Thailand. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in veterinary medicine from College of Veterinary Medicine, National Chung Hsing University, Republic of China (Taiwan). His research interests are Aquatic animal pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, antimicrobial drugs, chemicals and natural products for aquaculture, aquatic animal health. Several of his collaborative research has been published in reputable international journals.
